The smell of burning must have lingered in the air, or more likely, invaded it. A Gummy Ship had been forced to crash-land after flying for so long. The engine had close to melted upon entering the atmosphere, but it had luckily survived the trip. It was also fortunate that the ship was able to land high-up on a Skyscraper to avoid too much damage. The explorer would be off if it weren't for the engine's needing to cool down. The Replica was forced to climb down the building, and was finally able to touch solid ground after a bit of effort.

Where am I, anyway? Sirius asked himself, not really expecting an answer. This place wasn't on Malik's map, for sure, so the place was kind of a gray area. Nobody even walked the streets, no cars, no ships... Nothing. It was kind of a desolate place, and Sirius pretty much had to kick rocks until his ship was ready, so he decided to go exploring. He walked the blocks of the city slowly, looking for something interesting to do.

The Silent Child (Serene/Open) Empty Re: The Silent Child (Serene/Open)

The pop star had been walking around the town that day. Or night. Kayla really couldn't tell. The girl thought if there was a town, there would be people here. But this place was deserted. And boring. Kayla hated being bored. She thought she could gather up a crowd and raise her popularity some more, but no, nothing. Zilch. Nadda! Kayla stamped her foot on the black walkway and shouted with a pout, "Where is everyone? This place blows!" The idol just stamped her foot tiwce before continuing onwards, annoyed. She had Peacemaker in her hand right now, just for safety.

Soon the pink-haired girl found something here in this desolate land of nothingness. It was a man, most likely older than her, that seemed to be heading down a road. He didn't look like anything too special, nobody famous or anything. Maybe the girl could use this man to at least find an audience! "Hey!" Kayla called, "I'm glad I found somebody! Where are we?" It was an interesting question, and maybe this man knew.

Some uppity, pep-filled girl came up to talk to the wandering man. She was bubbly, and rather annoying. I dunno. Sirius said, not stopping for conversation. The youth seemed to be rather... what was the word. Happy, yeah. Sirius really didn't like 'happy'. Didn't feel that he needed it. He rounded a corner, not caring if she followed him or not. He wanted to find something to do, something that wasn't bright and positive.

The man just brushed Kayla off as something unimportant and walked off. That really pressed her buttons. The boring male wasn't going to ignore a famous pop star? No one is more popular and famous than her! "Hey!" Kayla yelled, running after the man, "What's your beef? You seem kind of boring!" The idol was behind the man, walking behind the person while smiling casaully. Maybe this guy would lighten up, especially if he had time to remember the superstar. If not, then this guy probably lived uner a rock for some time.

Ugh, the thing was following him. Sirius walked a little faster, as if to gain distance, but she kept on. Whatever. he humphed at her remark about him being boring. He isn't boring. He was just quiet. And not weird like this child. At least I'm not annoying. Sirius added. He would have went on, but he turned a corner to find a group of Dusks slithering along the area. He quickly turned around and ducked behind the corner, stopping the girl from going in that direction. He put his finger over his lips to tell her to be quiet. This girl might very well get him killed. Sirius peeked past the corner occasionally to see if they passed, but no signs of them leaving were apparent. He didn't really want to have a confrontation in such a desolate place; easy place to die and remain unfound.

Annoying? Did he just call her annoying? That no-good, insulting punk! Kayla gripped her microphone and glared, almost ready to yell at him. "Listen here, punk!" she started, but the man started acting wierd, telling her to be quiet like he saw something. Kayla put a hand on her hip and peeked around the corner. Some wierd...things. They weren't Heartless, and the symbol was kind of upside-down. Kayla never met them before, so it confused her.

Deciding not to get herself in any trouble, the girl just sighed, rolled her eyes, and asked in a slightly sarcastic tone, "So, what are those things?" Kayla knew that she was either going to be hushed, get some stupid response, or actually get an answer.

The World That Never Was. An interesting world with architecture that seemed almost as calculated as the world he previously inhabited, even if briefly.

Knowing that this world was one that held great deals of information he chose to explore it in the hopes of completing the first point in his objective; locating Gabriel Aro. Hollow Bastion proved fruitless but that was to be expected as no one would go through the efforts to keep themselves concealed while hiding in plain site. At least not in a world as dull as that one with little going for the man that supposedly created a series of programs for who knows what.

Eventually finding his way onto an unnecessarily long street he would come across two humans and care not for their interaction. He would then look at the dusks that were being pointed at and would then say, "Those are low level nobodies known as Dusks. Even the most basic of programs know that." He said someone condescendingly, even if obscure.

Sirius readied himself to hit the woman, but the newcomer distracted him. He spoke obviously enough; obviously they were Nobody's. Then again, he was probably saying it for the girl's sake, though he didn't seem very interested at all. Almost at a point of boredom. Yeah, pretty much. Sirius said, affirming what he said. He turned to the man. Best we keep moving. Thanks, uh, whoever you are. Sirius said, and then he realized he was still holding the girl's arm. He pushed her off, into the danger of the Dusks. They seemed to take notice, so Sirius took this time to think. They would be distracted in raping her corpse while he was warming up. There were only about 5 of them, so it wasn't like she was actually going to die. Not really his problem, anyway; his ship was probably cooled off by now. So, he just sat back and watch.

Kayla listened with interest. Nobodies? Dusks? These were all new to the idol. Kayla was going to go in for some mroe questions, but the man that grabbed her arm pushed the pop idol towards the crowd of enemies. "You cowardly little brat!" Kayla yelled at the man. She then stopped to realize the group was catching up on her. It was time for a hoe-down between the famous female and the gray creatures.

Kayla had Peacekeeper in hand already, so when some of them got close, she swung it heavily to just knock them aside. Kayla then threw the microphone on her back and took out Pretty Potent. the violin was ready to go, so Kayla fired off two pulses at one Dusk, casuing it to poof. One down, four to go. The girl, for now, used up one more orb of energy before slamming her violin down on the next one, destroying it as well. This wouldn't be so bad.

"So why did you throw her into the street?" He asked wondering what the dilemma between the two were. He then noticed that dusks would end up attacking her and would observe the female's fighting style and then look to the man to see if he would attempt in helping her.
Or perhaps this was the initial intent? If so it was rather illogical but then again he didn't have the context of the situation so any conclusions would be ill-informed. He would have to gather more data on the situation.

To observe. Besides, she was super annoying, Scarface. It's not like I was gonna' let them kill her; just a bruise or two. Sirius said to the newcomer. He started to get into his stance when the first Dusk charged. It swung it's needle arm thing, Sirius ducking under the attack and delivering an uppercut to where it's jaw would be. It flew upwards, but Sirius grabbed the arm of it midair and spun, throwing it against the nearby wall and causing it to poof. His Metallic Gloves zapped into existence, increasing his body's electrical potential. The Conduction Generators would fuel his Internal Generator and make his attacks hit harder. Looking at the new guy, Sirius spoke. Hey, you can do something if you want.

Kayla was backing up away from one of these Dusk things. She fired an orb from Pretty Potent to hit the Dusk, which flinched. To the flinch, the idol ran over and slammed it with her violin twice, then swinging her violin like a home run bat. It disappeared, but Kayla was ready. She changed back to Peacemaker and looked at her remaining foes.

Two were left, along with the grouchy man and the other person. The quiet dude was handling himself well, while the other person did...nothing? Maybe he wasn't good at fighting. Poor chap. Kayla shrugged. It was good being better than at least somebody at everything. Which she was. The idol would've taken time to admire herself, but one more came at her. She blocked with her microphone and pushed it back. These things weren't too bad. It was like fighting Heartless, kind of!
